Los tres hijos de Michael Jackson y su madre, la señora Katherine, piden una excesiva cantidad de 40 mil millones de dólares a la productora y promotora de eventos AEG Live con la que trabajaba su padre.TMZ informó que consiguió documentos legales en los que se explicita lo que Prince, Paris, Blanket y Katherine pidieron como indemnización por la presunta contratación negligente y mala supervisión del Dr. Conrad Murray hacia Michael.
Todo pareciera que esto no fuera una petición de los niños, pero se informa que son ellos los que pidieron un sostén económico de 10 mil millones de dólares para su futuro, tal como si el mismo Michael los estuviera ganando si estuviera vivo. Por si fuera poco, piden 40 mil millones restantes por daños alternos.
AEG Live contestó que esa suma les parece absurda debido a que cuando el cantante estaba vivo su carrera se encontraba en decadencia, por lo que no hubiera podido llegar a ganar tal suma en ese tiempo. Agregando las acusasciones en su contra sobre abuso de menores, argumentan que el dinero reclamado está mal calculado, con base en especulaciones.
